The Formation of the Missionary Structure and the Calling of the Chosen Few

The Beginning of the Gathering Before the Organization

Before the organization called PBMA was established, the gathering of people was first formed.

“Busa man ngani nga ang atong pundok sa wala pa kini gimugna, ang gitawag ug PBMA, giuna ko pag-mugna kadtong MAGTITIGUM.”

The foundation began with the gathering of individuals who would later become part of the mission and structure of the organization.

The Spiritual Division and the Numbers of the Mission

The message describes a planned progression of numbers within the Spiritual Division.

It begins with the first group:

TRESE (13)

Then, in the years that followed:

BEINTE-KUATRO (24)

would be formed.

After this:

KUARENTA Y KUATRO (44)

would follow.

Then the next number:

144 (One Hundred Forty-Four)

And eventually:

ONE HUNDRED FORTY-FOUR THOUSAND (144,000)

The Meaning of the Numbers

The message explains:

“That 144,000 is for the Field.”

The 144,000 represents those assigned for the field mission.

While:

“The 24 pieces of people is for the office.”

and:

“The 44 number para gihapon kana sa mga office.”

refer to those connected with the office structure.

The message distinguishes between those who serve in administration and those who carry the mission outward into the field.

The Calling of the Missioners

To the missioners, the message gives encouragement:

“So, ‘yong missioners, are maybe you are wonderful member of the 144 if you are a good missioner.”

Those who faithfully perform their duties and live according to the mission may become part of this number.

The message reminds:

“So if you will be maybe chosen at that number or else you will be included to that number, so YOU ARE VERY LUCKY.”

A Challenge to Those in the Field

The field mission is described as a journey requiring dedication and commitment.

“Busa paningkamotan kana ninyo, KAMONG MGA MISYONARYO.”

The message encourages missionaries to continue striving because the path of service requires perseverance and sacrifice.

Observation of the Mission in the World

The message continues with an observation based on experience:

“The way I look at it or I observed, after my inspection sa akong pagsuroy-suroy sa akong paglakaw-lakaw, pagsusi sa mga hilit-hilit sa pagkakaron nga panahon…”

After observing different places and situations, the message reflects on the visibility of the mission.

A Symbol of Mission and Service

The message states:

“The Spiritual Division pa matod pa nila, wala kono’y lain bandila nga nagpakayab sa pagkakaron nga mga pundok aron pagpaila sa misyon sa atong Ginoo…”

It highlights the role of members in representing the mission and carrying its message.

A Reminder to Members

The message expresses appreciation to members:

“So you are very lucky.”

It reminds them that being part of the organization carries responsibility.

The members are encouraged to continue proving their dedication through their actions, service, and commitment.

Reflection

The April 11, 1974 message focuses on organization, mission, responsibility, and dedication.

It presents a vision of a structured mission where members have different roles—some serving in the office and others serving in the field.

The central reminder is directed to the missionaries:

“Paningkamotan kana ninyo, kamong mga misyonaryo.”

To serve requires effort, commitment, and faithfulness to the responsibility entrusted to them.
